Debra L. Williams

Deb Williams has been a certified court reporter since 1991. She opened her own business as a sole proprietor in 1998 and then expanded the business into Williams & Associates in 2007. Deb is a member of the New Mexico Court Reporters Association, having served as Secretary, President-Elect, and President. She also volunteers for the University of New Mexico School of Law, providing services during mock trial and deposition courses. Deb specializes in medical testimony and daily copy transcription. In her personal time she enjoys going to live music events and spending time with her husband and four dogs.

Teresa Torrez

Teresa Torrez has proudly served New Mexico as a freelance court reporter for over three decades and has been with Williams & Associates since 2007. Teresa is a dedicated professional who is passionate about her career and industry. She is eager to share the profession with our community and has done so through mentoring students through NCRA’s “A-Z Program,” volunteering at UNM Law School’s “Depo School,” and setting up her machine at numerous high school Career Days in Albuquerque to engage the next generation of court reporters. She has served as New Mexico Court Reporter’s Association treasurer for three terms.
When she isn’t sharing her journey or focused on the job, Teresa enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband Martin, three children, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and three grandsons. She loves traveling, cooking with her family and friends, volunteering at her church, reading, and thrift shopping.
Destenie Visarraga

Destenie is a Certified Court Reporter and holds the certification as a Registered Professional Reporter, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science. She has been reporting since 2007. She is a Native New Mexican, born and raised in Santa Fe.
Henry Weinbeck
CCR
Henry Weinbeck began reporting in 1989 as an Official Court Reporter in Minneapolis. He has worked in Hawaii, Oregon, New Mexico, Minnesota, and Washington as both an Official and Freelance Reporter covering a myriad of civil and criminal cases. He was also a reporting instructor at Albuquerque TVI, now known as CNMCC. When not working, Henry enjoys traveling with his wife, Kristin; playing jazz trumpet; hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and playing basketball.
Rebecca Fella

Rebecca began court reporting in 1989 in Orlando, Florida. After reporting for a decade in Lexington, Kentucky, she joined Williams & Associates in 2019. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Julie Goehl
CCR
Julie began reporting in 1977 in State District Court in Alamogordo, New Mexico, for Judge Thomas Sandenaw. In November of 2001, Julie started working as an official in Federal Court in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and worked for three Article III judges – John Edwards Conway, M. Christina Armijo, and Kea Riggs. During that time, she attained certificates for Registered Merit Reporter, Certified Real-time Reporter, and Registered Diplomate Reporter. After 20 years in Federal Court she retired on January 1, 2022. Julie states she truly enjoyed working in court and especially liked criminal trials. She is now freelancing for Williams Court Reporting.

Kate Gordon
Kate Gordon works as a transcriptionist and has been a part of the Williams & Associates team for over 15 years. She has a BS in finance and business administration and later studied court reporting at Metropolitan College. Kate worked as a court reporter under a provisional license for four years. She loves participating in outdoor activities, with her favorites being cycling and skiing.

Amy Gonzalez

Amy is a seasoned professional in the legal field, boasting over a decade of experience. She has successfully established and managed two litigation firms in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2023, Amy took a leap of faith and launched her own venture, L & M Court Reporting, LLC. Alongside running her business, she embarked on a journey to become a Certified Court Reporter by enrolling in relevant coursework.
While honing her speed-building skills, Amy collaborates with Williams and Associates as a trial assistant and scopist. Her services range from real-time scoping to delivering meticulously proofread transcripts within 24 hours. Despite her busy schedule, Amy is a dedicated mother to her grade-school children. Her supportive husband offers encouragement as she navigates the challenges of speed building, ensuring her steno machine remains safely inside and not out the window.
